The Family Counseling Center of Greater Washington (FCCGW) is a counseling and mental health services center providing a full range of counseling and mental health services to adults and children living in Maryland and Virginia. FCCGW has been serving people with mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual problems for over 50 years with qualified helping professionals trained in trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.
FCCGW has qualified, bilingual (Korean/English) licensed counselors who work with children, youth, couples, families, and individuals. FCCGW counselors have many years of experience working cross-culturally in various settings. They are trauma-informed and use evidenced-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and more.
At FCCGW, we deeply understand the unique challenges and strengths that individuals like you. FCCGW’s Peer-to-Peer (P2P) is a helper-buddy mentoring matching program designed to provide social and emotional learning opportunities to participants, equipping them with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to achieve healthy and successful futures. In particular, the helpers who participated in this program are eligible to apply for the President's Volunteer Service Award by fulfilling the required hours. P2P is open to anyone.
