Many people considering therapy feel conflicted. People fear they may encounter a familiar need to censor themselves even with a therapist. People sometimes think their problems don’t merit the attention of a professional and that they should be able to sort it out on their own. These fears are especially true of the most ubiquitous and normal struggles Americans face today; anxiety, depression and addiction. I provide space for people to relax, to talk, to lay everything out on the table. I work with people to know themselves better, to improve their relationship with their own nature, and to formulate solutions to problems.
Life is too short to live it in anxiety, sadness, or anger; too precious to squander on bad relationships. I want to help you enjoy a sense of meaning and purpose in all arenas of your life.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a stay-at-home mom for my three (now adult children), a military spouse (now retired), and a Marine Officer. As a therapist for eight years I provide traditional counseling services as well as non-medical coaching services around health, wealth, career, and parenting.
