Dialectical Behavior Therapy
The NEXT CLASS STARTS February 5, 2021, due to the current surge in COVID-19. This class teaches coping skills for interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) principles. This group is especially helpful for people with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, bipolar disorder and other issues. It is a 6 month weekly commitment lasting 90-100 minutes.. Limited to 10 members. The class meets on Fridays from 2:30 to 5 PM. I was trained by Marsha Linehan, the originator of the course, and strictly follow her newest guidelines. The fee is $25 per class.

Grief Support Group
The Grief Group is not meeting currently due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The anticipated restart date is February 8, 2021. Individual meetings are available, if interested, please call for an appointment. This group teaches the steps necessary to move through the painful grief process. The group is open (one may enter at any time). There is no time limit for grief and everyone grieves somewhat differently. It can be grief over a person, a pet, a relationship or a move away from a familiar place or even health status...no matter what, it is a change and change triggers grief.
