I am an experienced therapist offering a direct, supportive, nonjudgemental setting to individuals and couples. I work from an Internal Family Systems, Process therapy perspective using dialogue, parts work, role play, educational tools, mindfulness, visualization. My goal is to guide you into connection with yourself and your significant other ( if you come to me as a couple.) I invite you to know your internal landscape, meet your parts, understand your issues and communicate mindfully. I trust implicitly that you are moving toward wholeness and well-being; that your core essence guides us both in the work.
All work is Relational - with self or other. I am passionate about this work, especially couples work. It is where we feel most vulnerable. It is where our deepest issues surface. Richard Schwartz, Hedy and Yumi Schleifer, John Gottman, Terrence Real, Daniel Siegel, Byron Katie, Harville Hendricks, Tara Brach influence my work.
Being a Parent Educator led me into this field. I love working with couples and have found this to be one of the areas I am particularly skilled in. I teach couples to cross the bridge into their inner world as well as the world of their beloved where deep connection occurs and issues are resolved.
