The fact that you are neurodivergent is a gift and I want to help you hone-in on your gifts. This cannot be said without acknowledgement of the trials and tribulations of mental illness and other internal challenges. There are so many parts of you that I cannot cure with therapy, nor would I want to cure those parts of you. Your best self can come with awareness and acceptance of your gifts. My approach to therapy is one that is celebratory, humorous, radical, and intentional. My name might be “Sunny,” but our therapy space is not a “good vibes only” space.
Together, we can fully accept the full spectrum of emotions while remaining optimistic. I am queer-identified, affirming, and liberating. Being LGBTQ+ is another gift. My hope is for you to feel lovable and loving as you are.
My clinical background includes but is not limited to: religious abuse/cult survivors, relationships and relationship diversity, folks in recovery/harm reduction approaches, young adults/college students, LGBTQ+ veterans, Autism Spectrum, and more.
