Hello, I am the owner of Transitions: Counseling Services. While I am no longer taking new clients, Transitions has more than 10 therapists; by calling my number, you will be connected to TCS where someone will help you find a good fit. Life changes (transitions) are intense moments for everyone, even when positive. Stress, grief, and depression accompany losses of loved ones, job shifts, difficult relationships, and new surroundings. Even joyous changes (a new romantic relationship, the birth of a child, a job promotion) can cause tension and depression because they can be frightening new directions.
I do not claim to have "answers" for all such moments, but I do believe in your ability to discover solutions based on your own values and beliefs. I am willing to be with you in your pain, to listen, and to assist you in finding the inner tools needed to make transitions.
Together we will search out the reasons you aren't getting what you want or find new ways of thinking about who you are and what you need.
Sometimes the hardest question can be "What do I want?" Again, I don't have the answers. But you do, and we will work to discover them.
