One of the most difficult things to do in life can be making the decision to reach out and ask for help. My clients would describe me as gentle, nurturing, and easy to talk to, but would also say that I am willing to say the "hard to hear" things when necessary. My goal is assist you in learning to cope with current stressors and assist in processing past hurts that contribute to current struggles. I see my job as one of a helper or guide as you work to achieve your goals.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and PTSD through a variety of evidenced based methods. I am also trained in EMDR. I utilize a faith-based approach upon request. I offer supervision to LPC Associates who are employed in other agencies. Supervision services are offered virtually.
I believe that in the most broken times of our lives, we can create the most beautiful beginnings. Everyone struggles at times and sometimes all we need is someone to listen and to feel heard. I strive to create an environment where my clients feel valued, supported, heard, and respected.
