Whether your relationship is full of conflict or has drifted into the friend zone, this is our area of expertise. We focus on practical strategies that we know from research to be effective. Our goal is to minimize the time you spend with us and give you the tools you need to improve your relationship outside of therapy. Our team of therapists is highly skilled, compassionate and will offer you practical feedback and research-based guidance.

Not all therapists are specifically trained in couples therapy. All of our therapists are highly trained in Gottman Method, a research-based couples therapy. Whether you're dealing with an affair, loneliness or repetitive fights, it can truly change your relationship. I am a Master Trainer and Consultant to other therapists learning this approach.

In addition to ongoing therapy, we also offer intensive couples sessions in both our Alameda and Pleasanton offices. We can accommodate couples seeking 1 -3 day intensives with some notice. Sinead also offers daylong and weekend workshops for couples based on Gottman research several times per year in the Bay Area.
