My passion in this work comes from guiding clients toward life goals, healing, growth, & self-discovery. I combine various modalities tailored to address hindrances & increase momentum in your life. I welcome children, adolescents, teens, & adults as well as couples & families. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life adjustments, developmental delays & more. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused work, & Play Therapies & several other counseling methods to meet your needs. I offer CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, & Play Therapy. I see through assessment what works best for each client's unique situation and utilize the appropriate treatment modality that will work for them.
Building empathy and encouraging potential clients to reach out involves a multifaceted approach. Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another person. It includes active listening, authentic communication, understanding the client needs, & community engagement.
