Rational Living Therapy & Brainspotting changed my life, so I incorporate that in my work with others who want to learn skills to live a happier, healthier life. Being passionate about helping others work on solutions to their problems, I teach skills that can be practiced daily and incorporated into your everyday world. Im a researcher, teacher and advocate who assigns treatment homework and I am available to answer questions in-between sessions to benefit you.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Rational Living Therapy, trained in Brainspotting and am a rostered Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Life skills that teach an understanding of how individuals thoughts lead to their feelings and behaviors is "the secret to life." (ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, LGBTQIA, grief/loss/pets).
My techniques are Evidence Based Practices, true healing with results. Not just band aids. I expect my patients to be engaged and work as hard as I do. Time spent with me is learning. In-between sessions is for practicing skills. I look forward to assisting you on your journey.
