Therapy improves relationships and helps people experience more freedom, fulfillment and joy. My work is to partner with clients to gain and strengthen self awareness, and to explore underlying fears and struggles that keep us stuck. All of us go through periods of mild to extreme anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self esteem, unmet goals, procrastination and career dissatisfaction. In addition to experiencing ongoing issues, we all struggle during major life transitions like the loss of a loved one, a move, the birth of a child, starting/ending a relationship, retirement, and losses related to aging/illness.
I bring over 20 years of clinical experience and a holistic approach to health, wellness and stress reduction. Using a strengths-based perspective I support clients as they build on their existing strengths and skills. I am committed to offering a space where patients can explore and process their feelings and experiences.
I find it incredibly rewarding to witness the increased hope, empathy and self-acceptance that often occur in therapy. My office is located in South/West Andersonville, near Lincoln Square and Ravenswood. Location is close to several major bus routes, and accessible from the el's brown and red lines. Street parking is available.

Grief Process Group
This group is a space to explore what grief is and how it impacts us each in our lives. Members will witness each other's experiences, share their thoughts and feelings on the themes of grief and coping with loss, including asking big life questions. We will be learning how grief is expressed in our communication and interrelatedness within the group itself, including processing the end of group/goodbyes. The goal is to create a supportive space to strengthen members in their personal grieving process and in their lives going forward while living with loss. This group will be held in person this fall.
