Are you feeling out of control or overwhelmed in your life? Are you experiencing stress from simply existing as a person of color in America? Maybe you’re having thoughts, feelings, or sensations of fear, panic, or dread. Maybe you’re struggling to cope with it all, and are questioning your use of substances. Maybe you aren’t sure if you even “need” therapy. You may have begun avoiding certain things, or begun isolating to hide your struggles from others, which are common reactions to feeling overwhelmed by stress. If any of this is true for you, you've come to the right place.

I work with adults that are experiencing anxiety, low motivation, questioning their substance use, having a hard time with life transitions, and more. I have a very warm and calm demeanor and I often use humor in my sessions. I am direct, with compassion, and I emphasize offering a safe space for clients to be 100% themselves without feeling judged.

As scary as I know this all can be, help is available and you are not alone. I take a team approach to therapy, meaning I’m here to help, but I’ll never tell you what to do.
