You deserve to have the opportunity to change, to reach your goals in all aspects of your life and be the person that you want to be, and yet sometimes there can be barriers to making such positive change. I enjoy working with teenagers, adults and the elder population and believe in empowering the people I work with to accomplish their own goals, understand their triggers and use positive coping skills when dealing with adverse situations in their life.
My belief is in meeting people where they are, addressing their individual needs and barriers such as childhood traumas, mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, intimacy and trust issues, communication and anger problems. My approach to therapy is solution focused, multicultural, cognitive therapy and identifying strengths.
I am also trained as a professional life coach, helping people be leaders in their own lives, setting realistic goals and partnering with you to accomplish those goals. So if you are feeling unable to find peace or struggling with negative thoughts and feelings, let me guide you through this process and empower you to make those changes.
