I believe that psychotherapy is most beneficial when it can address problems and help one find solutions to life's conflicts. It is these conflicts that often become obstacles in leading an emotionally healthy and rewarding life. Ultimately, I believe the goal of therapy is to enable an individual to make decisions that will allow them to feel most satisfied, productive and in control of their lives. Likewise, learning to cope with life's everyday stressors and crises can be an important part of psychotherapeutic work. My approach is tailored to your needs and working toward what you wish to accomplish.
I believe therapeutic process works best when clients have once or twice weekly sessions. It allows for a continuity of experience and places the client in the role of being responsible and committed to themselves. My strength lies in a pragmattic approach grounded in solid psychological and psychotherapeutic theory.
My previous career as a musician has allowed me to be creative, flexible and open to the multiple ways in which people define their emotional needs and decide what their goals in life are. I offer a safe , non-judgmental environment in which clients can enhance their emotional health.
