Health psychology is the study of behavioral processes in health, illness, and healthcare. It is concerned with understanding how psychological, behavioral, and cultural factors contribute to physical health and illness. Psychological factors can affect health directly. The concept of intersectionality represents the different layers of social stratification that can combine to disadvantage people. This includes race, sexual orientation, social class, age, disability, and gender. We have an integrated team of specialists to collaborate the most effective care for all of our clients.
