I have over twenty years experience working with adolescents. My primary expertise is working with teens, parents and family dynamics but I love working with anyone who is seeking to empower and better themselves. I have experience working with almost every problem and issue but I have found that what truly makes a difference is when people learn to be the most powerful element of change in their own lives. People get better when they become empowered and learn to help themselves. That's when they start to look beyond their own limits. I love seeing people make this step, those are the ones I love working with the most.
I am well known for high accountability. People always say that I tell them what they need to hear even if it's difficult. My approaches might seem a bit unconventional; I take elements from positive psychology and utilize healing methods such as meditation, mindfulness, self-respect and meaningful connections.
Therapy is for the brave, not the broken. I know that therapy might be the most personal and vulnerable thing that a person might do in their life. It takes guts to sit on my couch. Wellness isn't just a job for me, it's a lifestyle. It's just part of who I am. We are the greatest source of wellness in our lives, I'm just the wilderness guide. Namaste.
