I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, that has been providing assistance to clients for over 14 years. I have worked with couples, families and individuals. I have found that the key to addressing personal issues is to “strive for progress, not perfection.” It is the key to living a fulfilling life for yourself and those around you. My clients are treated with the utmost respect at all times, as respect and trust must be present in order for progress to be made in a therapeutic relationship. I never judge any client situation. Rather, I help guide you through what presents itself as a difficult situation in your life.
My areas of specialty include working through life changes that come with divorce, developing daily coping skills to work through anxiety and depression. working with young adults as they meet new challenges of college and/or being away from home, helping young children work through divorce or difficult school situations, and family systems therapy.
At all times, I work with my clients in a cooperative way to set goals that are attainable and develop a pathway for achievement. There is no one approach that is suitable for all. Therefore, my approach with each client is unique and tailored for the specific individual, couple or family.
