There is something powerful about sharing your burdens with another person. My goal in therapy is to walk along side you as we navigate the difficulties in your life. I try to balance teaching you concrete coping strategies with also providing a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment where you can talk about painful experiences. It takes a lot of courage to admit to having struggles in life and I would be honored to help you reduce your suffering.
I have a special interest in treating trauma, addiction, chronic pain, and in working with military members and their family members. I utilize a variety of therapeutic methods, including behavioral strategies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR.
