Hi there! My name is Sarah Barry and I'm currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Louisiana as well as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Montana. I received my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2016. I love my job of being a helper as I see immense strengths and progress from my clients throughout their counseling journey.
I am trained in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model and have years of experience in working with Anxiety Disorders, Depression Disorders, Grief, Post-Partum struggles for new mothers (and fathers) as well family counseling. In my current practice, I work with patient's to address Thinking Errors and Negative Core beliefs.
If a prospective client would like faith based counseling, I practice from the framework of Early Christianity with use of Scripture, the early Church Fathers as well as inclusion of martyrs for continued healing and building of faith. The integration of faith based counseling is only at the request of the client. I would love to work with you.
