I approach each client with the careful unpacking of present distress—whether symptoms arise from an unexpected crisis or loss, a difficult transition, or erosion due to long-term suffering. I form strong relationships with clients to explore these present concerns while integrating the past and building insight. Many of my clients seek support in navigating difficult emotions; reworking frustrating patterns; strengthening relationships; facing places of tension; and finding greater satisfaction in their lives.
My clinical background centers around work with children, adolescents, and families in both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. I am certified as a Level I trauma practitioner from the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute as well as certified in Narrative Therapy.
A growing area of practice for me is around climate grief and eco-anxiety. I'm a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance-North America. My practice is situated within in the aboriginal territories of the Salish and Kalispel people. As an acknowledgement of this, I donate 5% of my private pay accounts to an indigenous non-profit.
