A lot of people come for therapy because they are not feeling good. Therapy can be an eye opening to these aspects and a place to address what concerns you to improve your life. There are always two sides for life. You could be wonderful enjoying your life and it still could be struggling. It’s okay not to be okay. Sometimes all we need is someone to really understand what’s going on and listen to us.
I am an Arab psychotherapist that provides engaged listening in a non-judgmental perspective. As a social worker, my approach is informed by social justice principles challenging oppression and empowering diversity and equity. My main approaches I use are CBT, trauma focused therapy, DBT, Person centered therapy, and EFT.
