My practice includes individuals, couples, and families who are wanting to find solace in their experiences. I connect with clients by creating safety, understanding their unique point of view, focusing on their strengths, and collaborating with them to build a plan for treatment. My clients find space in their world to find hope in the midst of pain, courageously explore change, set goals, embrace healthy beliefs, learn new skills, make positive life choices, achieve balance, and heal.
My primary therapeutic approach is strengths-based which encompasses each individual, couple, or family’s perspective of the world to create positive skills. The belief that the power of an individual’s connection to their environment as well as the impact community has on personal and relational development is integral in my work with clients.
My goal is to help each client integrate the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual portions of their individual or relational identity. The counseling process can be scary and overwhelming, but it just might help you take back your life.
