Greetings! I am a NYS Licensed Psychologist, providing psychotherapy, consultation, workshops, and supervision. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University, and have over 15 years of professional experience. Psychotherapy is my passion, and my approach is a blend of solution-focused Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness. I have completed formal training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and often weave meditation practice into the therapy process. Other areas of interest include: fitness, yoga, taichi, qigong, gaming, work/life balance, LGBTQ issues, and mind-body health (sleep, nutrition, exercise).
Whether it is to better manage obstacles like stress, sadness, and anxiety, or to push the limits of optimal performance, I believe psychotherapy can help you experience life more fully. I also enjoy working with clients who have concerns about technology use, such as social media and video games.
