Change can be difficult for everyone but especially Children, since they don't truly understand what or why certain Change has happened. Children from Divorce/Separation, Remarriage, Family Member with Drug/Alcohol Issues, Mental Illness, Loss or Family Member Away/Back from Military Service. "Children in Change" is an 8 Week Group. Tuesdays Groups 8-11 year olds and Thursdays 12-15 year olds. Parent Education & Family Stabilization Class
Florida Family Courts require parents with minor children to complete a parenting course before a parenting plan can be finalized. This course is approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Florida Courts. The course is a required 4 hours and is designed to educate, train, and assist divorcing parents in regards to the impact of divorce on parents and children and effective communication barriers and skills.
