All of us face periods in our lives when we feel confused, stuck, or unhappy, either individually or in our relationships. With the right support and insight, experiences which might become crises can instead become opportunities for growth. By asking how we got here, we can start to understand hidden patterns in our thinking and behavior, and reckon with the parts of ourselves that impact others negatively, or feel out of our control. Working with families or individuals, I encourage deep understanding of oneself and others, in order to repair old wounds, and create a sense of clarity and possibility for the future.
I work with individuals , children and families, helping to improve relationships by reducing blame and guilt, improving communication, and most essentially, providing insight so people can better meet each other' and their own needs. Trained in psychodynamic therapy, I draw on several approaches to promote a safe, responsive, and dynamic experience.
