Welcome. Helping Men and Couples is my special focus. I offer talk-based Doctoral-level therapy for Anxiety, Relationships, Sexual Issues, Depression, College/Young Adults, Self-Understanding, Motivation/Focus, Social Anxiety, Assertiveness, Anger, Porn/Sexual/Gaming Addictions, Pee-Shyness Anxiety and more. Some issues look different in men and go unrecognized or need a different approach. With 17 years of experience, I craft a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality/Choice Theory, Psychodynamic Therapy (underlying influences), and Gottman Method (relationships) to help clients get better. My practice is small and private, offering a personal, supportive experience. I've worked with young professionals, seasoned adults, college students, military, and athletes. My PhD in Counseling included Sport & Exercise Psychology. I practiced for 7 years in university-affiliated centers and was on pastoral staff of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church.
