Sometimes whatever is going on has something to with “stuff” from the past. When that happens I believe we tend to get stuck in unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving in our present and impacts our relationship with others and even ourselves. People I work with generally are looking to feel fully alive and free in the present without being bogged down from the past. A lot of my people are looking for encouragement, guidance and someone to be their cheer leader.
I aim to tailor my approach for getting unstuck and being more free to each client. Most often incorporating some EMDR therapy as well as a mixture of other ways of exploring what’s keeping you stuck. I get a lot of good info from your story - the story you've lived, the stories you tell yourself be they true or untrue, and the story of what could be.
