For a moment, consider life as a roller coaster. When you are waiting in line, life may move slowly or you may feel stuck. Other times, you may be thrown for a scary loop and have difficulty hanging on or managing the various twists and curves. I am committed to joining you for the ride, providing a safe and nurturing environment, assisting you as you set and reach goals, and being your biggest cheerleader as you create meaningful change and positive health. I also believe in teaching and mentoring, and therefore have 2 counselors in training that are available to help too with a significant sliding fee scale rate.

I work with individuals coping with transitions. I specialize in eating disorders / body image and OCD. Another passion is infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. I am experienced with relationship/marital concerns, ADHD, and career changes. I have completed my Perinatal Maternal Mental Health Certificate and Accelerated Resolution Therapy certification.

I consider myself a warm, flexible, dedicated, and open-minded clinician. I look forward to collaborating, transforming struggles into growth, supporting you as you make necessary changes for leading a more purposeful life, and helping you recognize your own true potential throughout the therapeutic process. This group invites participants to tackle issues nearly everyone is concerned about: dieting, weight, body image and self-esteem. Supportive, educational and creative activities will be used to explore the connections between food, body and self.whether anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating disorder. Relapse prevention skills as well as a safe environment will be provided to help you in your recovery and overall healing process. * Due to COVID, groups are postponed.

Participants will feel validated as they share their concerns and can offer support to one another.
