Amidst a mental health crisis and so many contradicting beliefs in society, you can learn to empower your authentic self and build a life of value. I will always see you as a person first. Mental health can impact anyone - regardless of gender, age, body size, etc. I work alongside adolescents, young adults, and families/parents as we all tackle the mental health crisis and build wellness through our personal values, commitments, communication, and, especially, through connection. Throughout, I bring warmth, humor, understanding, and assertive support. I specialize in treating eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, and trauma.
From working at higher levels of care, I have a unique perspective to healing, recovery building, and mental health wellness. I have an eclectic and personalized approach, drawing from cognitive and acceptance based orientations. I incorporate insight-oriented processes to inspire change, promote self-value, and strengthen skills.
We all have struggles and difficulties in life - we do not have to keep hiding such away.
