Welcome. I'm glad you landed here. I work with couples and individuals caught in dysfunctional patterns of relating. I am trained in the developmental couples model and have taken courses on sex therapy principles. I use emotionally focused therapy and the Gottman method as well in my work with couples. I welcome LGBTQ+, polyamorous, multicultural, interracial, and interfaith couples to my practice. Using an integrative approach I tailor interventions to help people create more joyful and resilient relationships.
My clinical specialty is working with couples, but I also work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I focus on the mind-body connection and use somatic methods including internal family systems and somatic experiencing. By bridging the mind and body I support my clients in deeply knowing and trusting themselves.
Sometimes people don't know exactly what they want to work on - just that something feels off. In therapy, we find through lines and patterns that may be repeating themselves unconsciously. Through insight, people can see parts of themselves that they were previously shut off from. This increased awareness allows for new choices and expanded possibilities.
