Starting therapy shows great courage and hope. I will collaborate with you to explore and reduce overwhelming feelings of worry and sadness while helping you better manage relationships in your life. I am guided by the belief that human relationships can be healing and aim to develop an authentic connection with my patients.
I provide psychoanalysis and psychotherapy; meeting with patients 1-4 times a week to process both conscious and unconscious conflicts. Specifically, treating relational struggles and depression/anxiety stemming from events in the present and past. I sub-specialize in loss & grief, multicultural issues and race relations.
I attended the University of Chicago to complete my graduate degree in Clinical Social Work. Subsequently, I completed a Fellowship in Advanced Psychodynamic Theory. In recent years I've trained as a psychoanalyst at The Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute and am currently on faculty.
