I am a qualified EMDR practitioner. I draw on attachment theory, mindfulness techniques, expressive arts and sand play. Together we will determine the best approaches for you or your child. I believe that building an authentic relationship with my clients is an important part of all effective therapies.
I specialize in treating childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Often teens who initially appear resistant to therapy feel relief when they discover they have a safe place to sort out their thoughts and feelings. In my work with younger children I use play therapy, art, and sand play.
