Does your family stress you out? Do they ask too much of you? Is it hard to move forward while carrying painful memories or experiences from childhood? Most families have "rules," spoken or unspoken, and those with challenging dynamics often tell you not to discuss family matters outside of the family. Thus, it might feel uncomfortable to talk about your experiences with a group of people. Group is a confidential space to connect with others whom may have similar experiences, gauge what is or is not "normal," and find ways to form new boundaries with family and other loved ones.
