Do you notice that you thrive in some areas of your life yet consistently struggle in others? Are you noticing the behaviors that once helped you survive are no longer necessary, let alone helpful? My name is Paulina and I specialize in helping people resolve inner traumas and break free from survival patterns so they can gain the confidence to create a more fulfilling life. I believe that with a little guidance and a lot of compassion, each individual has the inner capacity to heal. My style as a psychotherapist fuses mind-body modalities such as EMDR and mindfulness with a trauma-focused "inner parts" perspective.
My work centers on the philosophy that all "unhealthy" behaviors are outdated survival mechanisms - and like many things in life, we outgrow them. I go beyond working with the version of you that showed up in my office to help you tap into each and every unhealed version of yourself so we can work with who you were, who you are, and who you will become.
I use a strengths based and trauma-focused approach to help you start living. If you feel stuck, unmotivated, or simply don't know where to begin, I would love to help. I am currently offering both in-person and virtual sessions. It takes a lot of bravery to ask for help and I'm proud of you for making it this far!
