My approach to therapy is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. Therapy is not always easy–it takes time, trust, and vulnerability. I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where we build compassion through curiosity and get you closer to your values and goals. As a queer Latinx therapist, I believe each person is the expert on their own life, and I encourage my clients to decide for themselves what their life worth living looks like. Together, we’ll explore old patterns and address current challenges, cultivating insight and deep self-compassion to support your growth.
I help clients understand (and regulate) big emotions, learn new coping skills, and heal from trauma. Whether you're looking to shift specific behaviors, process past experiences, improve relationships, or feel more present, I believe we all have the capacity for change given the right tools and caring guidance.
I specialize in trauma-informed, evidence-based treatments for mood, personality, and eating disorders, and primarily work with adults. I am part of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) team and co-facilitate DBT Skills groups. I work from an anti-oppressive lens, and all of my work is queer and trans-affirming, pleasure, kink, poly, CNM, and SW positive.
