I have more than 20 years’ experience working with children and families who are grappling with problems such as divorce, adoption, major transitions, defiant behavior, ADHD, gender/sex/identity issues, grief/loss, learning challenges, drug and alcohol use/abuse, and more.
With younger children, I offer play therapy, which can provide your child an opportunity to express their feelings, fears, anxieties, conflicts and wishes through the metaphorical medium of play. I also offer family and parent sessions to help you better support and communicate with your child.
With tweens and teens, I try to match my interventions with your child’s developmental level and communication style. Talk therapy, games, art, or specific exercises tailored to your child are commonly utilized. I offer family therapy to help you communicate with, guide and support your child with confidence and compassion.
