I follow the gold standard approach when it comes to helping Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: Exposure Response Prevention (or “ERP"), which I combine with techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, promoting "psychological flexibility". These same exposure-based treatments strengthen resiliency and help people heal from phobias, trauma, and panic.
Recovering from OCD is challenging. Know that my only "agenda" is to help you be where you want to be in life. We move at the pace you set. I am happy to offer consultations where I can walk you through the process and address any concerns or questions you may have. (Please note that I am unable to accept EAP clients at this time)
