The Family of Origin Excavation Crew is for adults wanting to explore and alleviate the effects of a difficult childhood on present-day relationships, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors; to create a new, more empowering life story; and to receive support from others with similar experiences. This group is ideal for folks who grew up in families with: Emotional neglect/abuse, Manipulation, Secrecy, Coercion, and Chronic parental substance abuse or mental health issues. Those who have experienced physical or sexual abuse may be advised to engage in individual psychotherapy prior to or concurrently with participation in the group.
