I use a person centered approach that puts you in the drivers seat as I provide guidance from the passenger side through curiosity, patience, and authenticity. As a researcher and clinician, I'm not a touchy/feely therapist who speaks in sterile therapist jargon or feel good proverbs, so I best work with clients who are willing to do the work by vulnerably exploring and addressing underlying issues contributing to current suffering. My PhD in mind-body medicine and extensive clinical experience contribute to my integrated approach to therapy. I conduct my sessions through a client-centered lens, using direct communication, CBT, and solution focused strategies to help you achieve your goals and alleviate your suffering. I also have advanced training in clinical hypnosis and MB-CBT.
