As a solution focused therapist, my goal is to empower you to find your own strengths. My approach to therapy is to assist you to heal from past wounds and cope with current issues in nurturing and non-judgmental manner. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with many types of disorders - including learning difficulties, Attention Deficit Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Marital/Relationship problems, Anxiety, and Depression.
Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), meditation and mindfulness coupled with twenty years of child advocacy, professional parenting education, and consultation that include Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Alcohol & Drug and Parenting Assessments are some services offered.
It is my belief that information and knowledge are conduits to empowerment and growth. My goal is to assist clients discover their potential through exploration of their current situations and challenges, and to overcome those things they perceive to be potential hurdles that stifle growth and positive development in their lives.
