Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma? Is your child struggling with their behaviors, especially during transitions, like bedtime, or getting ready for school? I may be able to help. I specialize with working with both children and adults, ages 5+, to help ease suffering and improve overall functioning. I can work with parents to help solve problems with their children, provide support for the difficulty of parenting, and psychoeducation about the challenges their child is facing. I also have experience with clients who struggle with trauma, grief, self-harm and suicidality.
I use play therapy, eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), meditation, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). EMDR is a trauma-focused therapy that helps people work through trauma to regain stability, emotional regulation, and lessen the overall impact on their lives. I also use empathy, playfulness, and a healthy dose of humor.
My practice is a part of Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis, which is located in Golden Valley. We see clients of any background, regardless of religious affiliation. Call for a brief and confidential conversation about your needs and availability. Our intake and referral team can be reached at 952-542-4843.
