Kiddos, teens, and young adults are my jam. I understand family conflict, struggles with social interactions, anxiety, depression, and all the things that these age groups have to face, especially in a world that doesn't seem to be kind and understanding of their obstacles and needs, almost dismissing their experiences as undeserving of being taken seriously. These youth are seeking to find their place in the world and feel confident and worthy of moving through life with the love and respect they deserve. They're eager to learn more about themselves and make sense of the world around them and becoming self empowered in the process.
As an LPC I have developed strong experience helping families with generational trauma, cultural issues, youth specific trauma, challenges as an immigrant, life adjustments, and other family conflict. I utilize a client centered holistic approach during each session and I tailor dialog and treatment plans to meet the unique and specific needs of each client.
I became a therapist bc of my own personal life experiences with family and my own life struggles. I wanted to learn how to break cycles, learn more about the world around me, how to cope with chaos, but mostly learn more about myself and feel empowered to live my life to the fullest regardless of the obstacles that come my way. Time to pay it forward! :)
