You may have strong emotions but may not know what to do or say to solve your problem. Therapy can help to sort through these overwhelming issues. I use a strengths-based collaborative approach to assist you in being mindful and authentic in exploring your strengths and abilities for growth, and developing ways to work through life's challenges. I work with all ages, adults, adolescents and children, in individual, couples or family counseling. Adolescents are of special interest to me.

I counsel from a Positive psychology, solution-focused perspective that addresses the needs & goals of the client with the primary focus of enhancing their life. I approach my work with creativity, compassion & commitment. I am optimistic, encouraging, & motivated to provide guidance & resources that empower you to hear and develop your voice & goals.

I work well with individuals, couples, and families trying to improve communication, parenting, trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, or transitions; and special interest working with teens struggling with self-esteem, establishing boundaries, substance abuse, self-harm, academic concerns, social anxiety, impulsivity, and college counseling.
