My approach to helping is trauma-informed, client-specific, evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and solution-oriented. Meaning that we will focus on developing specific strategies and skills for problem resolution. It's important to recognize how your actions influence your thoughts and emotions. Understanding how going through a traumatic experience can affect how one relates to others is imperative to move from victim to survivor to an advocate for healing.

Most people take care of their physical health. However, one’s mental health is often seen from a negative perspective which causes a barrier to getting help. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns and traumatic experiences.

I have a strong commitment to maintaining an ethical and effective clinical practice and in my service to the larger community. Where we start will be up to you as are the goals you are wanting to reach. I look forward to working with you!
