I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I have a diverse professional background that includes: Exercise Physiologist/Kinesiologist in physical medicine clinics and have served in 18 years in Education in a variety of roles. I am also a consultant and coach and have dedicated 16 years of helping athletes on biomechanics, injury prevention/recovery, mental resilience and achieve their full potential. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Certificate in Mental Health Counseling helps me to combine a deep understanding of the whole athlete/person.
In addition to working with athletes, I am passionate about working with individuals, couples and families from ages 13 and up on a virtual platform. I am also available to consult with teams local to the Denton, Tx area.
I understand the importance of feeling seen, heard and respected. I focus on treating the whole person’s mind, body and spirit and provide a supportive, comfortable and conversational environment to foster growth. I am passionate about encouraging others and helping them discover opportunities for growth and gaining HOPE in every situation.
