Therapy does not require there be something inherently wrong to be of benefit. I am most curious about exploring intimate relationship as a catalyst for personal growth. Intimacy is chaotic, enchanting, perplexing, and impermanent. Yet, engaging in relationship is among the most challenging and meaningful aspects of living.
My orientation is a blend of somatic, contemplative, and socially just approaches. I believe in the importance of recognizing the contribution of larger forces, allowing the moment-to-moment experience to guide the therapeutic relationship, and cultivating sensory awareness thereby expanding our ability to feel, express, and regulate emotion using the body.
