Self Help Book Club

The world is flush with self-help books. In online monthly book club meetings we choose best-sellers to discuss with you live via Zoom. Discussions are facilitated by licensed therapists and limited to 10 members per meeting. This is a book club not therapy! We take the content very seriously but ourselves not so much. We are earnest, informal and irreverent. If you an an academic review this is probably not the club for you. If you like to spend time with others who want to learn & grow, you’ll fit right in. If you struggle with eating habits, if you feel unable to find motivation for self-care and physical activity this group is designed for you. We provide psychoeducation and social support for women in a group setting. We do not focus on weight loss; instead we address the root issues that commonly contribute to unhealthy behaviors. Each week spotlights a different topic: eating triggers, motivation, body image, self-acceptance, stabilizing blood sugar, sleep, and more. We meet Fridays 12-1 pm Eastern time, virtually. $30/session, 12 weeks. An intake prior to joining is required. First meeting March 1, 2024.
