Awake: Betrayed Partners Group
This support group starts on the every other Thursday of the month starting in September 5th, 2024 until December 5th, 2024 from 7pm to 8:30pm (virtual). Price: $50 per meeting or $ 350 for eight sessions. Who: Anyone experienced sexual betrayal with their spouse(s)/partner(s) such as infidelity, porn addiction, out of control sexual behaviors and other relational trauma. This is a mixed group with psychoeducation about betrayal trauma related topics and process group where we all learn from each other's relational styles and attachment injuries. As an Asian sex therapist, I am constantly struck by the urgent need within our community to break the silence around Asian sexual development, experiences, expressions, and desire. It's time to challenge the status quo and reject the narrow definition of "healthy" sexuality imposed by our sexualized culture. This group is a safe space for those grappling with sexual orientation, gender exploration, desires, and all aspects of their sexual identity. Let's reclaim and celebrate Asian sexuality! This is a monthly virtual process-based, trauma-informed group open to all ages and forms of Asian groups.
