As a therapist, it is very important to me that throughout the therapy process my clients feel heard, safe, and understood. I know that therapy can be a difficult process, but it can also be a powerful process of self-exploration, discovery, and acceptance that can lead to interacting with others in new and healing ways. I believe that all people have the fundamental capacity for change and I work collaboratively with my clients to help tailor therapy to their individual, couple, and familial needs and goals.
My work with individuals addresses relational difficulties, life transitions, depression, self-esteem, and personal success. My work with couples addresses communication, conflict, infidelity, emotional and physical intimacy, and separation consideration. My work with families to address family conflict, child behavioral/emotional difficulties, parenting skills, childhood trauma, and coping after loss.
At Adler University, I completed my master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy- training in integrative, systemic, and scientifically-validated therapy approaches.
