Hello my name is Megan. I am a licensed mental health counselor with a master's degree in International Disaster Psychology. I offer individual therapy for adults aged 18 years old and older. I work with individuals with a variety of concerns, but specialize in life transitions, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms. Therapy can be an amazing resource to address any challenges and have a safe, comfortable space to foster growth.
While I like to utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, I tend to start with maladaptive thinking patterns and the ripple effect that has on the rest of our system. My therapeutic modality is an integrative approach with roots in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Feminist Therapy.
I am in this business because I believe in the power of having a space to be your authentic self, feel safe, and develop sustainable coping skills. Overall, there is power in having a space that is completely devoted to you and your truth. My goal is always to harness that power to aid you on your healing journey.
